The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs
Delivery of Digital Services varies greatly across DEFRA, and there are several challenges.
Overseeing the delivery of a new digital platform, providing core capabilities through a collection of guidance tools, technologies and practices built and tailored to the needs of DEFRA and focusing on Automation, repeatability, connectivity, and reuse. This will enable us to accelerate delivery, assure quality, and simplify the running of digital services.

I am overseeing the delivery to reduce DEFRA's reliance on paper-based documents and provide a robust solution to digitise the creation and publishing of new and existing forms.
We want to expedite the delivery process, enhance the user experience, increase accessibility, quality, and sustainability, reduce manual processes, and create a clear path to reducing the backlog of paper-based documents.
